English Indian Reveals NEW, Vegan Menu!

Here at The English Indian, we’re always looking for new ways to increase sustainability within our business and ensure we continuously improve our operations to remain environmentally friendly.

Currently we’re very aware of the impacts of cod sustainability, and for a long time now have wanted to make the transition to providing more ecological and ethical products.

Alongside our already inclusive menu, which includes pescatarian and vegetarian options, naturally a purely vegan option is what we would love to develop next, and we’re excited to announce that we’re currently working on launching our NEW, Exclusively Vegan addition to our already dietary diverse menu!

We’ve previously worked to develop our vegan menu, using ingredients including Cauliflower and Banana Blossom. However, we experienced a few handling and storage issues with these and settling on nothing less than perfect, continued to research further to find a product suitable to be crowned our final NEW Vegan recipe!

Now we’re excited to announce we have found our winner!

Our new Vegan menu option is Pakora Battered Artichoke!

It’s extremely tasty, with great texture, and we rate it even better than our previous banana blossom and cauliflower recipes!

Currently we’re serving this at all our Lichfield Pop-up events! Come try it yourself, every other Friday!

Keep an eye out for us this summer where we’ll be serving a PURE Vegan Menu at some events too.
