Festive thanks for all your support in 2022!
After a hectic summer season where we travel up and down the country, feeding the masses as some of the UK’s biggest and best festivals, the Christmas period is usually one where we manage to have a bit of down time. But not this year!
That’s because we’re spending this festive season down in London at one of the biggest Christmas events in the country – Winter Wonderland. Located in the heart of Hyde Park, it’s a veritable feast of all things Christmas. There are Santas and snowmen, elves on parade, fairground rides and rollercoasters, an ice rink, ice bar and ice sculpting – really, there’s so much here for all the family.
And then, there’s the food. It wouldn’t be Christmas without a feast or two, and that’s – obviously! – where we come in! You can find us in the Ride Zone, opposite the incredible Apres Ski Party ride and the entrance to the Bavarian Village, where we’ll be serving up out signature pakora-battered fish, halloumi wedges and vegan artichoke ‘vish’ with chaat masala chips, Indian chip shop curry sauce and mint and chilli garden mushy peas! With our neighbours the Gorilla Events bar serving up a range of festive drinks – including an amazing hot chocolate – and Churros Ole dishing up their delicious traditional Spanish churros, our little street food corner has you covered!
We’re down here every day until January 2, so if you’re planning on visiting this incredible Christmas wonderland, do pop over and say hi!
2022 has been a whirlwind of a year for us at The English Indian; after two very strange years where the whole world shut down throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, this summer saw us busier than ever, taking in huge festivals including the amazing Glastonbury, WOMAD and Wilderness to name just a few.
Our corporate events calendar has been packed, and we’ve also had the wonderful honour of catering for some magical weddings. And not stopping there, October saw us reopen our own Lichfield for a series of monthly pop-up dining events, which have gone down a storm with our loyal local following.
So we’d like to take this opportunity to say ‘THANK YOU’ to everyone who has supported us over the last 12 months, whether that’s been booking us for an event, trying our food at a festival or dining with us in our Lichfield unit – it really does mean the world to a business like ours.
